34th Annual Student Recognition Night

Durham District School Board (DDSB) invites you to attend the 34th Annual Student Recognition Night, to celebrate the successes of our incredible students.

Each DDSB secondary school is represented by three students who have been nominated by school staff for their significant contributions to the school community, as positive role models to their peers, or their remarkable efforts to excel in the face of adversity.

Trustees from the DDSB, principals, and school community council chairpersons will be attending the annual awards ceremony. Each student will receive a plaque and be recognized on stage in honour of their achievements.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Brooklin High School students during the evening and refreshments will be served after the ceremonies by the Brooklin High School Culinary Arts department.

"This event encompasses the true spirit of determination and success that is instilled in our DDSB students," expresses Superintendent Margaret Lazarus. "We are so proud of their accomplishments and it's an honour to recognize them at our Annual Student Recognition Night celebration."
