The School Community Council (SCC) is a group of elected volunteers including parents, teachers, students, community representatives and school administration working together to improve pupil achievement. This is accomplished by supporting school-based activities, strengthening the advisory role and partnerships with the school and the Durham District School Board on issues affecting the students and school, as well as enhancing the accountability of the education system to parents. The meetings are very informative and they are open to the public. All parents are welcome to attend.
