Credit Courses - Semester 2

Semester 2 Information

​Night school credit courses adhere to the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum expectations and are taught by accredited teachers.  Each course has 90 hours of instruction with an additional 20 hours of consultation time available to students.  Programs run from 6:00 pm – 9:15 pm.  Semester 2 programs run Mondays/Wednesdays at Anderson CVI and Tuesdays/Thursdays at Pine Ridge SS.

Registration Opens Nov 15, 2018 12:00 pm

Registration Deadline: Feb. 11, 2019

Extended hours Feb. 5 and Feb. 7: 4 pm to 7 pm

Students may still register for open courses after this date, however, selection may be limited.

Semester 2 programs in the Anderson location fill up quickly – register early to avoid disappointment. Durham Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel classes if there is insufficient enrolment by the registration deadline. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Students attending a secondary school MUST have permission from their day school to take a night school course as the Ontario Ministry of Education has a limit on the number of courses a student may take concurrently.  You must speak to your guidance counsellor and receive permission prior to registering.
