Walking to School
At Blair Ridge P.S., we encourage our students to arrive at school on foot. This not only reduces the amount of vehicular traffic at our school, but it enables our students the opportunity for some additional exercise, fresh air, and positive social interactions with other students.

While walking to school offers immeasurable benefits to our students, it also brings about the need for some heightened awareness and parents are asked to review the following safety tips with their children.

Crossing Guards

Crossing Guards are provided by the Town of Whitby. If you have questions about the Crossing Guard service, please visit the Town of Whitby website for more information.
